CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME

In the musical interpretation career i would change the focus. Since as a conservatory, it’s origin, it’s focus is 18th century, very romantic. In that aspect the career is very outdated. 

I don’t propose that the romantic look disappear but if to using new methodologies, with a focus more contemporary approach. That allows the interpreter have the ability to take current 21st century tolos and apply them.

Allow language development inside a conservatory line, for example the jazz language have a popular line and in that aspect, as a musicians need to change the focus and versatility to differents styles.

I would also apply more subjects in relation to the body and his knowledge to the interpretation.

On infrastructure issues, the arts faculty is in debt to the community, it’s deficient because there are no good places to the music study or are not enough, for theory it works fine but to the practice is regular.

I thinks the technology in the art faculty could be better, i
wish that we have more implements and accessibility to contemporary repertoire, much more material to the orchestra, also i wish new and differents methodologies for every instrument and maybe more workshop for the students the interpretation career.
